Vista security causes some issues with the Tierra Mapper installer.

If you get a “Tierra Mapper Installer Stopped Working” error when it is almost finished you can ignore it (click close program) as on most machines the install completes even with this message. After this error message the Pocket PC software starts to install and this does not seem to be affected by the PC error. Please watch your PC and PPC screens to see if it is progressing.

If you cannot get the installer to work, nothing installs and an error is returned, it is possible that you are missing a required component of Windows Mobile Device Center. An update to Windows Mobile Device Center may be required.
